In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a multifaceted succession of procedures that are utilized to treat fertility or genetic complications and to contribute with the conception of your newborn baby. During the IVF sessions, your mature eggs will be collected from your ovaries and then they will be fertilized by sperm in a laboratory.
In vitro is originally a Latin term, which actually constitutes a biological process that occurs in a laboratory container or any kind of measured experimental setting rather than in your womb, or any living organism or natural setting. After the chemical love has been blended, a couple more technical things occur, and you prosperously and patiently wait. (I know it’s hectic.) If you are lucky, the doctor might tell you that your eggs have been fertilized and they are now considered embryos. (Yes, this is where you jump for joy.)
Phase 5) Your magnificent, quantifying little embryos are then transferred into your uterus. The procedure is typically painless. (You can exhale. We are almost through.) If the process is prosperous, the implantation will occur around six to ten days following the egg retrieval. (Yes!)
